SALES MANAGER TRANSPORT LOGISTIC

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main mission: Defining, implementing and analysing the company’s sales strategy in line with the objectives set by General Management. You will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Study the markets to identify the needs of companies and individuals in the goods transport sector
  • Establishing partnerships with companies/individuals to meet their needs in the defined sector;
  • To achieve the company’s objectives through effective planning and by meeting the monthly targets set by General Management;
  • Organising Transport-Logistics sales activities and formulating sales proposals;
  • Develop customer loyalty;
  • Manage logistics and sales teams;
  • Ensures the smooth running of the logistics chain;
  • Respect prices and margins;
  • Promote the company’s image and reputation.
  • Prepares regular reports for management and adapts strategy according to results.

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • Have a 2-year of experience higher education qualification in sales or any other diploma;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in logistics and transport;
  • Understanding of commercial opportunities and sensitivity to customer satisfaction;
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English;
  • Integrity in all interactions, and the ability to build genuine partnerships with customers and internally with other functions;
  • A dynamic work ethic;
  • Ability to find relevant solutions in a highly dynamic environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective management of customer relations;
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of customers and prospective customers;
  • Organisational skills to define priorities and allocate resources;
  • Good resistance to stress and stamina;
  • Negotiating and diplomatic skills to deal with a variety of contacts;
  • Flexibility, availability and mobility.
