Professional intern Auditor

Nature of position: Level 2 professional trainee

Qualifications required: 3 to 5 years’ higher education in auditing, management control, finance or an equivalent field

Desired Experience: Minimum 1 year in a professional environment in the field of financial, operational or systems audit.

Objective

To actively participate in the evaluation of internal procedures, the control of operations and the continuous improvement of the company’s management processes.

Tasks

– Carrying out internal audits (financial, operational and systems);

– Analysing and assessing the compliance of processes with the rules and standards in force;

– Preparing and presenting audit reports with recommendations;

– Carrying out internal financial audits and assessing compliance with accounting and tax regulations;

– Identifying risks and proposing improvement plans;

– Participating in the continuous improvement of internal controls;

– Monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations;

– Participating in all other tasks related to the audit objectives.

Skills and Aptitudes Required

Knowledge

– In-depth knowledge of audit, finance and internal control;

– Good command of auditing standards and practices;

– Ability to analyse data and identify risks;

– Good command of office automation tools and SAGE or other systems.

Skills

– Planning and execution of audit assignments;

– Ability to assess compliance of activities with internal procedures;

– Writing clear and accurate reports;

– Follow-up of corrective actions.

– Thoroughness and organisational skills;

– A critical and proactive mind;

– Good interpersonal skills and diplomacy;

– Ability to work as part of a team and independently;

– Location : Douala-Bonamoussadi

– Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00
