Solutions RH+ Emploi, on behalf of one of its clients, is seeking a qualified Construction Inspector (Building & Civil Engineering).
This position is ideal for professionals committed to ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of construction projects, working closely with field teams and technical managers.
JOB MISSIONS
Main Responsibilities
- Inspect the compliance of construction works (buildings, roads, civil structures) with plans, standards, and specifications.
- Verify the quality of materials and their proper implementation on site.
- Monitor project progress and report any irregularities or non-conformities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective measures.
Key Activities
1. Technical Inspection
- Check layouts, alignments, foundations, formwork, reinforcements, and structures.
- Inspect construction materials (concrete, steel, wood, bitumen, etc.) for quality and conformity.
- Monitor work processes (pouring, compaction, waterproofing, finishing).
2. Supervision and Coordination
- Monitor the execution schedule of construction activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and design offices.
- Attend site meetings and prepare technical reports.
3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards on site.
- Oversee the implementation of environmental protection measures.
4. Reporting and Documentation
- Draft inspection sheets, minutes, and technical reports.
- Maintain and archive compliance and project tracking documentation.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Education:
Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Public Works, or a related field.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of experience in site inspection, supervision, or construction monitoring.
Key Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of building and civil engineering standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading plans, measurements, and construction techniques.
- Skilled in measurement tools, quality control, and monitoring software (AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel…).
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and rigor.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
