- Job title: Professional Trainee – Legal Department

- Place of internship: Douala
Main duties
Under the supervision of the Head of the Legal Department, the trainee will have the following tasks :
- Participate in the analysis and drafting of contracts, agreements and other legal documents;
- Assist in the management of litigation and pre-litigation files;
- Carry out legal research and prepare briefing notes on specific issues;
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in relation to the organisation’s activities;
- Contribute to the drafting of correspondence, reports and legal documents;
- Participate in meetings and assist in the follow-up of legal recommendations;
- Providing support in monitoring internal administrative and regulatory procedures.
Skills required
- Good command of business law, labour law and administrative law;
- Ability to analyse and summarise;
- Good writing skills and proficiency in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Rigour, discretion and respect for the confidentiality of information handled;
- Team spirit and autonomy in carrying out tasks.
Desired profile
- Master 1 or 2 student in Law (Business Law, Public Law, Private Law, etc.) or equivalent degree;
- First experience (traineeship) in a law firm, company or administration appreciated;
- Strong motivation to work in a legal and institutional environment.
