 JOB DESCRIPTION
Job titleFUNCTION: CUSTOMS DECLARANT REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Bac+2 in logistics and transport management DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 3 years minimum  
MISSIONSMain mission: Ensure the transit of goods for the company. To do this, you will be in charge of the following actions:   Manage control and compliance operations;Ensure follow-up of customer relations;Prepare and manage administrative customs clearance formalities;Participate in the drafting and monitoring of budgets; Support control and dispute procedures;Ensure the coordination of a customs network.  
NATURE OF THE POSITIONHierarchical reporting: GENERAL MANAGEMENT Place of practice: DOUALA  
SKILLS/KNOW-HOWCodify the merchandise based on the description provided by the customer;Determine the duties and taxes to apply;Check invoicing and customer outstandings;Guarantee the conformity of the declarations made;Carry out inspections and verification of imported goods;Carry out visits (sanitary, technical, etc.) upon requests from customs authorities.  
SKILLS/SKILLSØ  Mastery of customs regulations
Ø  Mastery of pricing techniques
Ø  Have a sense of negotiation and argumentation;
Ø  Be diplomatic and autonomous;
Ø  Master customs formalities tools/software;
Ø  Be meticulous.
